First launch
Move StemWave Extract to Applications, then right-click → Open. This release is not Apple Developer ID signed or notarized; macOS may require approval in Privacy & Security.
Everything is included: both model checkpoints, Python, audio libraries, and FFmpeg. No first-launch downloads. Unzip, move the app to Applications, and work offline.

Runtime and models live inside the app. Preferences, caches, and earlier-version data may live in ~/Library/Application Support/com.stemwave.extract. Exported audio stays in your chosen save folder. To uninstall, quit and delete the app and that Application Support folder. Your exported stems remain unless you delete them separately.

The app and stemwave_core are MIT licensed, © 2026 move37audio. The separation checkpoint has no published license; the publisher has confirmed permission to redistribute it. The app’s MIT license does not grant rights to that checkpoint.
